We are also interested in new research development on how to tackle environmental challenges.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AND ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY
SAEI takes actions that inspires collaborative effort to address challenges, discover opportunities and create sustainable development at the community, national, regional and International level. We identify strengths and resources of individuals and communities, and helps the individual and communities to mobilize and build on these for sustainable development.

LIVELIHOOD IMPROVEMENT AND DISASTER RISK MANAGEMENT
SAEI is interested in supporting self-reliance and improvement of the livelihood of the community in which we work. We look out for existing government policies to find out how they are linked to our goals and we herald it diligently so as to contribute our own quota to poverty reduction in Africa. We advocate for disaster risk management education and provide such trainings at the local government level.

GRANT MAKING AND PHILANTHROPY
We operate a grant scheme that will empower youth, single mothers and widows with an investment capital to support innovative but disadvantaged young people and poor single mothers and widows in a community-driven development approach that will ensure sustainable community development through social investment and grant-making.
